Volkswagen expands Delivery truck model range in Paraguay

Brazil / Paraguay - Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus Ltda (VW) of Resende, Brazil (a subsidiary of the Traton Group), has introduced two new light-duty models of its Delivery truck range in Paraguay. The new 4- and 6-ton gross weight trucks, the Delivery 4.160 and the 6.160 join the 9.170 and 11.180 models already offer in the market. Both new models are fitted with a Cummins ISF 160hp 2.8-litre engine with SCR technology and six-speed Eaton ESO 4206 transmission.
Leonardo Soloaga, International Sales Director at VW Trucks and Buses, commenting on the new entry models, said: “The new Delivery range is a real success, which, in less than a year, has been increasingly conquering the Paraguayan market. Therefore, we are very confident about increasing our vehicle offering to meet growing demand.”
