Argentina –As an initiative to help transport operators in Argentina, where the economy has been contracting, Volvo Trucks Argentina of Buenos Aires, Argentina, has initiated a price freeze on original spare parts in the country. This is to help operators control maintenance costs whilst facing the difficult economic conditions over the past two years in Argentina.

The Volvo Trucks’ programme has seen Volvo reduce the prices of spare parts and technical services by up to 15%. Initially, the price concession involved 160 key fast-moving components, such as filters, tensioners, belts and batteries. The programme is also designed to help operators by setting up deferred payment systems or extended credit, increased credit as well as providing greater discounts on certain parts.
