India / France - ION Energy¹, a recent start-up company, based in Mumbai, specializing in battery management systems (BMS) and energy diagnostic solutions (Edison1), has been engaged to supply its technology to another relatively new company in France, IBS Technologies². IBS is a battery pack manufacturer using Lithium ion batteries that is leveraging ION Energy’s technology to make ‘mobile energy storage solutions’ or trucks that are capable of providing an electrical charge to passenger vehicles. The business plan includes supplying mobile solutions for commercial vehicles.

At the Charade Electric Festival “New Tech” near Vichy in  France, IBS, in partnership with Socomec, a leading manufacturer of power control and safety equipment, displayed its first electric truck – this mobile storage unit had an installed capacity of up to 300kWh of energy to enable mobile charging for electric cars during events and other locations including on road.
