MCV E6 500 coach targets Europe and Middle Eastern markets

Egypt / Belgium - Manufacturing Commercial Vehicles (MCV) of Salheya, Egypt, used Busworld Europe in Brussels, Belgium last month to present its latest coach, the E6, with which it intends to export to Europe and the Middle East.

The E6 500 is built on a 428hp Mercedes-Benz OC500RF chassis and seats up to 55 passengers with a centre door and sunken toilet/washroom. It measures 12.29m long and has a wheelbase of 5.98m. A six-speed Mercedes-Benz manual gearbox is standard but the eight-speed powershift automated manual transmission is an option.
