Volvo Trucks receives BS VI certification for its 13-litre engine range

India - Volvo Trucks India Pvt Ltd of Bangalore, wholly-owned subsidiary of Sweden’s AB Volvo has received the BS VI certification for its D13 / D13LP engines, which are used in its FMX range of heavy-duty vocation trucks in India.

The D13/D13LP engine is a 4-cycle, inline six cylinder engine with common rail injection system and turbocharger, and Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system for NOx emissions control. It is offered in 14 different power ratings ranging from 375hp up to 500hp.
