Geely targets Asia’s commercial vehicle markets with New Energy trucks and buses

China - Chinese vehicle manufacturer, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group said it plans to launch a full-range of new energy commercial vehicles in South-east Asia soon.

The announcement was made by the company’s Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group (GCV) subsidiary at the unveiling of its TX4 London cab assembled in Thailand under contract with local company, Asia Cab. Geely originally acquired a stake in the UK’s London cab manufacturer, Magnanese Bronze in 2006, before it took control of the company in 2013.
