Ireland / UK / China - SAIC-owned LDV is to rebrand as MAXUS from April 2020. The announcement, from the Harris Group, the Dublin-based distributor for Ireland and the UK, said the move would coincide with the launch of two new models – an all new Deliver 9 and the E Deliver 3 (which was first unveiled at the 2019 CV Show and called the E3).

China’s largest automotive manufacturer, SAIC, acquired LDV in 2009 and manufactured under the MAXUS branding for the home market in addition to selected left-hand drive markets in Europe such as Spain, Belgium and The Netherlands. Harris Group secured the distribution rights for the UK and Ireland in 2015 along with the introduction of the LDV badged V80 and the electric alternative EV80 models.
