Volvo Bus offers 9700 double deck coach for growing Nordic markets

Sweden / Finland - Volvo Buses of Gothenburg, Sweden is introducing an addition to its 9700 and 9900 touring coach range with the launch of an all-new double-deck bus.

The new coach is based on a B11R/LE 6x2 chassis powered by the Volvo DK11 engine developing 460hp and coupled with a Volvo I-Shift transmission. It is bodied by Volvo's Finnish subsidiary, Carrus Oy with an overall height of 4.25m and is available in lengths up to 14.8m. The longest version can accommodate up to 96 passengers.
