Wabco opens global testing facility at R&D centre in Poland

Poland / Switzerland – Wabco Holdings Inc of Bern, Switzerland has opened a new Global Test Centre in Wroclaw, Poland, as an extension to the existing Wabco Poland Research and Development (R&D) Centre, which opened in October 2014.

Representing an investment of USD3.3m, the new facility will enable performance and endurance tests for a range of solutions including its Modular Braking Systems Platform (mBSP), Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) and car compressors. A variety of climate chambers enables state of the art automotive testing and measurements in extreme temperature ranges. An additional rapid prototyping workshop for valve technologies will also be installed on-site.
