GAZ's 22-passenger low entry minibus in production

Russia – The GAZ Group of Nizhny Novgorod at the start of the year began assembly of the new GAZ-A68R52 GAZelle City minibus featuring a low floor in the middle with easy access. The GAZelle City measures 6.62m long, 2.2m wide and 2.72m high and has an overall carrying capacity of 22 passengers, 17 of whom can travel seated

It has taken some four years for the vehicle to progress from its first prototype to commercial production. During this time, it has undergone a full series of tests, a change in the passenger compartment design, electrical modifications and a new front trim package. 18 months ago, the first prototypes went on demonstration at the world’s largest CV show, the IAA'2018 in Hannover.
