UK - Jo Bamford, managing director of the Bamford Bus Company, which owns Wrightbus in Ballymena says he has petitioned government ministers to focus the country on clean hydrogen-powered transport, post the Covid-19 pandemic.

Bamford, who also owns Ryse Hydrogen Ltd of Oxford, a hydrogen storage and fuelling infrastructure company, has developed a fully costed plan for how the private sector and UK Government can work together to deliver 3,000 hydrogen buses – about 10% of UK bus market - across the country by 2024.
