Haldex to supply new gen4 EBS to the Wielton Group from 2021

Sweden / Poland - Starting in the first quarter of 2021, CV braking control dynamics specialist, the Haldex Group of Lanskrona, Sweden, becomes the lead supplier of EBS (electronic braking systems) and air suspension systems to the Wielton Group of Wielun, Poland, one of Europe’s largest trailer manufacturers. A three year contract was signed at the end of April between the companies.
EBS controls the braking system electronically and can distribute the braking force differently between the wheels depending on need which results in a shorter braking distance compared with systems without EBS where the braking force on the wheels is always the same. The contract with the Wielton Group will be the first contract under which Haldex will supply the new generation called EBS 4.0.
