UK / USA - Electric delivery vehicle start-up, Arrival Ltd of London, UK, which in February announced a contract to supply UPS in the United States with up to 10,000 purpose-designed low floor delivery electric vans, last month added a battery-powered  all-electric bus to its portfolio of vehicles.

The on-line launch by Arrival Bus revealed an ultra-modern looking low floor electric 12m city bus in three-door layout. The launch pictures were taken in New York City. The bus offers seating systems with modular social distancing layout options and modern passenger information technology on board. However, under normal pre-Covid layout conditions, the maximum passenger capacity depending on seat configuration is stated as up to 125 passengers. In answers to further questions from T&BB Arrival Bus said the range is dependent on the duty cycle of the route, but it is possible for a range of 400km on a single charge.
