Volta Zero 16 ton e-truck to enter commercial trials in 2021

Sweden / UK – Banbury-based automotive engineering technology and solutions consultancy, ProDrive Holding Ltd is in the process of building the first prototype Volta Zero 16 ton gvw truck for Stockholm-based electric truck developer, Volta Trucks AB.

The new zero emissions truck is scheduled to be launched later in 2020, with the first pilot test vehicles to undergo evaluation with customers in Q1-2021. The first truck is to go on trial with Bring and Posten, the Nordic region’s leading distributor of parcels, cargo and mail. It will operate in Bring and Posten’s network of inner-city mail and parcel pick-up and drop-off locations.
