Polish cities accelerate investment in electric buses from Solaris

Poland – Solaris Bus & Coach SA of Bolechowo says it is set to treble delivery of electric buses in Poland over the coming months.

Having delivered its first electric bus in Poland in 2015, today more than 150 Solaris electric buses (and electric trolleybuses) are in operation across 20 Polish cities. Solaris says more than 300 vehicles are either currently in production or awaiting delivery. In the coming months, the Solaris electric bus fleet in Poland is expected to grow to 490 vehicles in 33 cities.
