Volta Trucks partners with Bridgestone for its demonstration fleet

Sweden / Japan - Stockholm-based Volta Trucks, the Scandinavian start-up full-electric vehicle manufacturer, has entered a tyre partnership with Japan's Bridgestone tyre manufacturer. The agreement, with Bridgestone EMIA North Region covers the first launch vehicle, revealed at an online event on Thursday  September 3, 2020 and the supply of tyres to the pilot vehicles that are due to start evaluation with fleet operators in early 2021.

Logistics fleet operators already signed up to trial the Volta Zero, include DPD Group in the UK and Bring & Posten in Scandinavia, with orders already being taken for the vehicle in both markets.
