Brazil - FNM, the classic truck brand from the 1960s and 1970s is back after four decades, but now, as an electric truck manufacturer. The name of the new company is FNM Fábrica Nacional de Mobilidades - and not Fábrica Nacional de Motores – a company with its registered office in Rio de Janeiro with its operating headquarters in Caxias do Sul.

The new company has been established by two brothers and an unnamed  businessman from Caxias do Sul (RS). The two brothers are José Antonio Severo Martins and Alberto Martins, sons of José Antonio Fernandes Martins, the former vice president of Marcopolo SA and former president of Fabus (National Association of Bus Manufacturers). The new company has been formed with a partnership with a company, so far unnamed, from Rio de Janeiro.
