UK – Suffolk-based refrigerated transport specialist, Hubbard Products Ltd, part of Japan’s Daikin Group*,  is planning to relocate to a new site in Ipswich. The relocation is planned for early 2021, which will see it move into a ‘state-of-the-art’ 80,000 sq ft manufacturing facility at Futura Park. The new development is designed to meet Daikin Global Production Standards as part of its ‘Fusion 2025’ plan for business expansion in the UK and Europe. Senior officials took part in a ground-breaking ceremony at the site on September 8.

Ilias Katsoulis, CEO of Hubbard Products, said: “We welcome the opportunities this exciting and innovative site will bring in creating the perfect environment for excellence in manufacturing, quality and improved efficiency. The development will generate new value for Hubbard’s ‘blue-chip’ customers as well as the local community, by providing advanced products and job opportunities for the next five years and beyond.”
