New Hendrickson suspension options now available on next generation Western Star 49X

USA - Hendrickson Truck Commercial Vehicle Systems Inc of Woodridge, Illinois, USA has partnered with Daimler Trucks North America Inc’s subsidiary, Western Star Trucks of Portland, Oregon to offer a portfolio of premium rear suspension systems as part of chassis enhancements of the upgraded Western Star 49X truck model range. This includes the introduction of Haulmaax EX and the expansion of Ultimaax and Primaax EX on the new Western Star truck.

With the new vehicle’s introduction, Hendrickson is debuting its next generation heavy-duty rubber suspension, Haulmaax EX. To address the growing demand for rubber suspensions across all vocational applications, Hendrickson states, it is optimised to provide increased site rating, expanded capacity ranges and improved durability. The system expands the capabilities of the current Haulmaax design with up to a 70,000 pound site rating for the 46,000 pound capacity suspension. It is claimed to be extremely rugged, supporting the most demanding vocational applications and offering capacities of 40,000 pounds, 46,000 pounds and now 52,000 pounds.
