SwedenVolvo Trucks Corporation (a division of Volvo Group) of Gothenburg, Sweden,  is claiming to be the first manufacturer to introduce Amazon Alexa voice control to FH, FH16, FM and FMX trucks from March 2021. The integration of Alexa enables truck drivers to get directions, make phone calls, listen to the news, and access entertainment, all with simple voice commands. Volvo trucks with Alexa will be available in Austria, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain and the UK.

In September 2020, Volvo Trucks started sales of four new models developed with a strong focus on the driver environment, safety and productivity. They feature a new, flexible user interface with a digital instrument panel giving the driver relevant information when needed to take the right decisions.
