Infraprime Logistics looks to invest USD200m in electric-construction trucks and logistics by 2022

Gurugram – An Indian logistics start-up company, Infraprime Logistics Technologies Pvt Ltd (IPLT)1 of Gurugram (near Delhi) is planning to invest USD200m in converting around 1,000 diesel tractors and trucks to operate with electric drivetrains within the next two years; claiming this will make it the largest electric commercial vehicle operating platform in India.

The company says it is electrifying its vehicles to reduce operating cost and plans to expand further by leasing and renting its trucks via its own rental and leasing platform application called “TruckNow.”
