Yutong delivers 41,786 in 2020 despite pandemic restrictions

China – The world’s largest bus builder, Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co Ltd (Yutong) of Zhengzhou, China announced total deliveries (sales) of 41,756 Yutong buses to customers worldwide in 2020, which was considerably lower than the 58,688 units sold in 2019. 2018 had also been a marginally better year too at 61,156 units.
Yutong said 2020 had been an unprecedented year and that since the coronavirus outbreak, Yutong Bus had sent epidemic resistant materials along with its integrated epidemic prevention experience to 85 countries in Asia, Europe, America, Africa, and the Middle East, ultimately benefitting more than 10 million people.
