Sweden / UK – Anti-microbial material treatment specialist, Polygiene AB of Malmo, Sweden, in late December 2020 acquired Stafford, UK-based Addmaster Holdings Ltd, making it a comprehensive supplier of anti-microbial solutions for both soft and hard surfaces. The transaction is said to be worth SEK374m (EUR37m).

Ulrika Björk, CEO of Polygiene, said: “The acquisition will allow us to offer the market a comprehensive solution of anti-microbial functions for both soft surfaces such as textiles and hard surfaces such as floors, handles, kitchen and bathroom fittings in public spaces. This reduces the need for washing and cleaning, therefore lessens our environmental impact.”
