Indonesia - The Indonesian market for other light commercial vehicles of 2-5 tons gvw declined by almost 16% to 9,531 units in the fourth quarter of 2020 from 11,235 units a year earlier, with the decline beginning to slow compared with previous quarters. Full-year sales were almost 37% lower at 27,816 units from 43,875 units in 2019.

Mitsubishi continued to lead this segment with its L300 range, sales of which fell by over 43% to 16,088 units last year. But its dominance is increasingly threatened by Isuzu following the launch of its Traga light truck a few years ago. Despite the sharp market decline last year, sales of the Traga rose over 5% to 6,690 units.
