Indonesia - PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta), the main public bus consortium for Indonesia’s capital city Jakarta, in December announced it wants to have 10,000 electric buses in service by 2030, according to local reports.
Transjakarta last year added a limited number of electric buses to its fleet for trial use and is now looking to ramp up purchases with an additional 100 units in 2021 - according to the organisation’s head of facilities planning and standardization Mr Rakhmat Candra.
