Truck exports climb 91.2% in Q1 of 2021

Brazil - In the first quarter of 2021, Brazilian manufacturers saw truck exports soar by 91.2% to 5,276 units, up from 2,759 units in the same quarter in 2020. The largest volume was that of the heavy truck sector, which represented more than 40% of the total number of trucks exported – they totalled 2,307 units against 1,408 units in Q1 2020. The main export markets were to countries in South America, Central America and Africa.
