Brazil - DAF Caminhões Brasil Ltda of Ponta Grossa, Paraná has launched a new off-road tractor unit in its new CF range - the chassis has been fully reinforced to handle severe off-road applications such as sugarcane and timber operations and offering gross train weights of up to 125 tons.

The new model is fitted with the latest Paccar MX13 engine, the same as in the XF, offering an output of 480hp and torque of 2,350Nm to 2,500Nm starting at 900 rev/min, which is matched with the automated 12-speed ZF Traxon transmission. The Paccar MX engine is fitted with a three-stage 490hp engine brake. The modules and connectors sealed, avoiding contamination by dust or dirt in the operation.
