Mercedes-Benz launches 14m 4×2 city bus chassis for BRT systems and bus corridors

Brazil - Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo, São Paulo has launched a new high floor chassis model for the city bus BRT segment, the O500 R Super Padron, which the company claims, is the first in the segment measuring approximately 14 metres in length in the 4×2 configuration.
The model can receive bodies of up to 14 metres in length and it has the capacity to transport up to 100 people, the same number of passengers as the competing 15m length 6×2 models, so Mercedes-Benz states.
