Switch Mobility partners with Siemens to execute e-mobility projects in India

Bengaluru / UK / Germany – Electric bus and light van builder, Switch Mobility Automotive Ltd of Bengaluru (a subsidiary of Switch Mobility Ltd of Leeds, UK, which is a subsidiary of Ashok Leyland Ltd of Chennai) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Siemens Ltd of Mumbai, India (a subsidiary of Siemens AG of Munich, Germany) to address jointly the need of electric commercial vehicle customers and execute e-mobility projects in India.

The companies state the MOU is aimed at delivering efficient, cost-effective and sustainable e-mobility solutions to various commercial vehicle customers in India. Switch Mobility will bring its electric commercial vehicle industry experience while Siemens will provide the charging infrastructure technology and charging infrastructure management software solution.
