Bus Rapid Transit trials start in Iskandar, Malaysia

Malaysia - The Iskandar Regional Development Authority of Malaysia in March said its Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project would likely cost MYR2.5bn (USD600m) and is expected to become operational in 2023. 

A three-month pilot test was launched in April, giving nine potential bus suppliers from four different countries the opportunity to demonstrate their green technologies, namely electric and biodiesel buses.
