Exports at VW Trucks and Buses grow 133% in the first four months of 2021

VWCO Brazil - VW Caminhões e Ônibus Resende Ltda (VWCO) of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, recorded a 133.1% increase in exports of trucks and bus chassis produced in the first four months of 2021 in Brazil compared with the same period last year. 2,527 units were sent to customers abroad, against 1,084 units in January to April 2020.

According to Roberto Cortes, CEO of VWCO, each market experiences different reasons for the rise in demand, but in general, all tend to recover and resume after a period as difficult as the beginning of 2020.
