Higer testing 12m electric city bus in São Paulo

Brazil - Higer Bus Co Ltd of Suzhou, China has started on-road field tests of its full-electric city buses in Brazil. According to TEVX Motors Group Ltda* of Niteroi, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the importer of the Higer brand into Brazil, says tests are initially being carried out with transport operators in São Paulo. In a second phase, the city of Ribeirão Preto, in the interior of the state of São Paulo, will also receive the experimental vehicle.

The first vehicle exported to Brazil is a 3-entrance (front, middle, rear) Azure A12 bus, measuring 12.2 metres in length, produced at the company’s global headquarters in Suzhou, China.
