Sales of Scania CNG trucks continue the rise in Brazil as more corporations look to lower carbon footprint - TransMaroni operating 50 gas units

Brazil - With sales of Scania CNG (natural and/or biomethane) trucks heading northwards of 150 units, one operator on its own now accounts for 50 of these sales.

The customer is transport contractor, TransMaroni, making it become the largest fleet of this alternative solution to diesel. The purchase is part of an investment of BRA50m (USD10m) in different actions focused on re-positioning the priority of the Brazilian carrier to sustainable transport.
