UK – Jo Bamford, owner of Northern Irish bus manufacturer, Wrightbus of Ballymena, UK, has launched a new asset finance company called FUZE, which will provide turnkey solutions for bus fleet operators wanting to achieve net-zero emissions targets.

FUZE will lease vehicles, fuel/energy (hydrogen or electric), fuelling/charging infrastructure, and fleet maintenance as part of a single package for a fixed monthly cost. The service includes the entire Wrightbus range of FCEV and BEV buses, single or double deck, and covers a range of contract lengths. It employs Wrightbus’ telematics system, “WB Uptime 365”, which gives fleet operators real-time information about vehicle performance and use AI to allow for predictive, rather than reactive, vehicle repair and maintenance.
