GEO Energética Participações SA and Reiter Log commit to biogas project

Brazil – Brazilian haulage firm, Reiter Transport and Logistics (Reiter Log), based in Rio Grande do Sul, has signed an agreement with GEO Energética Participações SA, based in Londrina, Brazil, to produce biogas for use in Reiter Log’s haulage fleet. Together, the two firms have agreed to carry out a mapping of biogas facilities along routes in Brazil. In pursuit of this strategy, both companies have been working closely with truck and bus builder, Scania Latin America Ltda of São Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, with Reiter Log recently ordering 124 CNG trucks – see separate article in this month’s issue.
