Lightning eMotors and Ricardo sign partnership to bring EVs to the UK

USA / UK – Electric commercial vehicle producer Lightning eMotors of Loveland, Colorado, USA and Ricardo Plc of Shoreham-by-Sea, UK have announced a strategic partnership to provide electric commercial vehicles to the UK market.
Under the terms of the agreement, Lightning eMotors will construct the fully electric powertrains at its facility in Loveland, Colorado for shipment to the UK. Ricardo will integrate the electric powertrains into medium-duty vehicles at its five technical centres in Shoreham-by-Sea, Derby, Coalville, Leamington Spa, and Preston.
