Cummins to locate New Power China HQ in Shanghai

USA / China – Cummins Inc., based in Columbus, Indiana, has announced it will locate its New Power China headquarters in Shanghai, within the Lingang New Area, a free trade pilot zone¹.

The Shanghai headquarters, housing a research and development centre, will manufacture proton-exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cells, electrolyser stacks, and fuel cell stacks. Phase two of the project is expected to include innovation centres for the company’s alternative power portfolio.
