Belarusian manufacturers producing copies of Chinese vehicles

Belarus / China - Heavy truck manufacturer, BelAZ, based in Zhodino, Belarus has presented a 60-tonne tipper in partnership with Weichai Holding Group Co Ltd of Weifang, China. The new BelAZ-75520 is an exact copy of the Weichai Senta tipper, featuring a 450hp Weichai engine running on liquefied methane.

Shipped into Belarus in a completely knocked down kit, the vehicle is then assembled at BelAZ’s facility in Zhodino. Featuring a 450-litre fuel tank and hydromechanical transmission, the tipper is an exact copy of the Chinese truck, except for the BelAZ logo and its white paint job. Last year, BelAZ exported its vehicles to 24 countries.
