TIP Trailer Services acquire Steers Group and Eurotrail UK

USA / UK – TIP Trailer Services, a truck trailer rental company based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, has acquired Steers Group Ltd, a holding company based in Altrincham, UK, which owns a controlling interest in Leeds-based truck leasing company Eurotrail UK Ltd. The acquisition, which was agreed for an undisclosed sum, came into effect on 1 November.
Eurotrail employs approximately 15 people at its head office in Leeds and leases a fleet of heavy-duty vehicles including specialised vehicle bodies, crane, hookloader and cement mixer trucks. The company provides a range of services to customers, such as fleet maintenance and management in addition to vehicle rental and leasing. TIP confirmed that Eurotrail will retain its existing management team.
