Hydrogen industry group set to standardize hydrogen refuelling technology

South Korea / Japan / USA / Europe - The Hydrogen Heavy Duty Vehicle Industry Group, an industry group established in 2019 by several automotive and energy companies, has agreed to push ahead with a common global standard for hydrogen refuelling technologies to help “bring hydrogen closer to wide scale adoption”. 

The founding members of the industry group, including Hyundai Motor, Toyota Motor and Nikola Corporation, Air Liquide, Nel Hydrogen, Shell Transfer Oil Spa and Tatsuno Corporation, have agreed to adopt 70 MPa hydrogen heavy-duty vehicle high-flow (H70HF) hardware as a global standard for refuelling systems.
