Hankook participates in blockchain-based natural rubber tracing and sustainability project

South Korea – Hankook Tire & Technology, based in Seoul, South Korea, has announced it will take part in PROJECT TREE, a sustainability project aimed establishing the traceability of natural rubber using blockchain¹ technology.

Developed by ITOCHI Techno-Solutions Corporation, the project ensures that only rubber produced from raw materials obtained from outside conservation areas can be supplied to Hankook.
