Marcopolo presents Attivi, its first 100% electric model

The Marcopolo Attivi - A fully integral city bus with electric drivetrain

Brazil – Late November saw Marcopolo SA of Caxias du Sol present to President Jair Bolsonaro in Brasília, ABCD region of São Paulo, its first battery-electric bus fitted with its own technology and components from Brazilian and international suppliers. This also marks the first time that, Marcopolo, renown for many years as the largest bus and coach body builder worldwide, has built an integral bus.

Called ‘Attivi’, the new e-bus measures 13.25 meters in length, has capacity for eighty-nine passengers, a range of 250 kilometres on a single charge and recharging time of up to four hours. The new Attivi began on-road commercial trials at the start of October on a Suzantur operator's line, in the city of Santo André, Sao Paulo state.
