Strong year for Librelato with 44% revenue growth in 2022

Brazil - December saw Brazilian truck body and trailer builder Librelato SA of Içara (Santa Catarina State), announce it was expecting to finish the 2021 year with approximately 13,500 vehicles sold, representing growth of 44% compared with 2020, when 9,400 units were sold. Of this total, more than a thousand units were exported, setting a new company record for exported units, with an increase of 150% compared with 2020.

According to José Carlos Sprícigo CEO of Librelato, this performance places the company as the second largest exporter of semi-trailers in Brazil. The main countries that bought the brand's products were, in order, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay and Bolivia. In addition, the manufacturer has opened new markets on the African continent, concentrating on Ghana, Uganda and Kenya.
