Haskel scales up production of hydrogen refuelling stations

UK - Haskel International, a compression systems specialist based in Sunderland, UK, and subsidiary of Ingersoll Rand Inc of Davidson, North Carolina, USA, has received a multimillion-dollar investment from its parent company to significantly increase its production capacity of hydrogen refuelling stations. In an interview with Truck & Bus Builder, Nick Power, Hydrogen Business Development Manager at Haskel International, discussed the firm’s plans for the coming year alongside the global adoption of hydrogen refuelling infrastructure.

Haskel’s multi-million dollar investment from parent company Ingersoll Rand will be used to develop the firm’s development and production facilities. The centre of excellence in Sunderland, UK, which also acts as the main manufacturing plant for its hydrogen refuelling stations, will see its production capacity trebled by the end of 2022.
