Yutong reports steady year in 2021

China – Zhengzhou Yutong Group Co Ltd (“Yutong”), a bus manufacturer based in Zhengzhou, Henan, China, produced 42,065 buses (0.2% increase) and sold 41,828 units (0.17% increase) in 2021, according to its end-of-year report.
The manufacturer noted that it achieved a revenue growth of 0.17% which, albeit small, bucks the general tend for bus manufacturers globally and in China in particular, where the market has shrunk due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company also announced that its cumulative exports across the world have reached 80,000 units.
