Malaysia’s Gemilang reports jump in new bus body orders from Uzbekistan & USA

Malaysia / Uzbekistan / USA - Bus body builder, Gemilang International Ltd (GML) has reported strong orders for bus bodies and finished buses in the first two months of 2022, particularly from international clients, following contract delays over the last two years due to the pandemic.
In February the Hong Kong-listed company, from its manufacturing base in the southern Malaysian city of Johor, reported an order for 190 completely knocked down (CKD) bus body kits from a customer in Uzbekistan, which it has agreed to fulfil by the end of October 2022.
