Truck and bus exports at Mercedes-Benz do Brasil enjoy strong growth in 2021

Brazil - Mercedes-Benz do Brasil Ltda  São Bernardo do Campo (a Daimler Truck subsidiary), recorded a 77% growth in truck exports in 2021 compared with the previous year. In the twelve months of last year, it shipped 8,026 units to countries in Latin America and overseas markets, such as the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region, compared with 4,530 trucks in 2020. 

Last year, the company also exported 3,129 bus chassis to these markets, which represents more than 13% growth on the 2,761 units in 2020. In total, Mercedes-Benz do Brasil exported 11,155 commercial vehicles in 2021, with an increase of 53% in sales over the previous year.
