Switch Mobility certified carbon neutral

UK – Switch Mobility Ltd, a commercial electric vehicle manufacturer based in Sherburn in Elmet, UK, has announced that it is certified as carbon neutral by environmental consultancy Climate Partner UK Ltd of London, UK.
Switch Mobility has achieved the certification, in part by powering its business sites with renewable energy, and in part by investing in carbon offsets to make up for operational aspects which cannot yet be decarbonised. The company says that it is in the process of transitioning its service fleet to all electric vehicles, while at its upcoming Spanish facility, where the company broke ground on 18 March, Switch is attempting to decarbonise the supply chain of construction materials where possible. The British manufacturer has committed to planting 2,000 trees in Spain, one for every employee the facility will hire following its completion.
