Mahindra in Furio truck supply agreement with Repos Energy to meet growing demand for mobile petrol pumps

India - Mahindra Truck & Bus Ltd, a division of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd of Mumbai, has announced a partnership with Pune-based energy distribution start-up, Repos Energy India Pvt Ltd (Repos) of Pune, Maharashtra state, India to supply its Furio medium-duty (11-14 ton) range of trucks for doorstep fuel delivery services fitted with Repos Mobile petrol pumps. 

Repos Energy, which was one of the first firms to introduce mobile re-fuelling stations or bowsers says demand for doorstep fuel delivery has grown rapidly across India and this growth accelerated even faster during the recent post-Covid period. The factors accelerating demand, states Repos include the global supply chain and economics of fuel trade, structural constraints of the existing distribution model, changing buying behaviour of consumers, and technological disruption.
