More companies elect to suspend business in Russia

Russia / Ukraine – The month of April saw more commercial vehicle and components manufacturers announce that they would suspend their business operations in the Russian Federation, due to the ongoing fallout over the Russian-led invasion of Ukraine. 

On 19 April, Stellantis BV of Amsterdam, Netherlands announced that it would suspend production of all vehicles at its plant in Kaluga, Russia. News reports earlier in the month claimed that van production at the plant was already on hold due to a lack of parts.
